Ready to level up your fantasy cricket knowledge? This hub is designed to teach you the core logic, analytical thinking, and advanced strategies used by the best players โ but without any of the money, gambling, or prize pressure. Purely skill. Purely practice.
All tips and examples on this page are strictly for educational simulation purposes only and are not connected to any prize-based apps or real-money contests.
Fantasy success starts with knowing what each player does. An opener faces more balls. A death bowler has more wicket chances. An all-rounder gives you points in multiple areas. Avoid blindly selecting star names โ choose based on fantasy opportunity.
Use current form, batting/bowling average, strike rate, and recent performance โ not fan-following or viral hype. If a player scored 50+ in the last 3 matches, theyโre probably a better pick than a big name who hasnโt delivered lately.
Captains get 2x points, and vice-captains get 1.5x. Never assign them randomly. Pick consistent players with high involvement (openers, frontline bowlers, or star all-rounders). Avoid picking risky batters as captains unless the pitch heavily favors scoring.
One of the biggest mistakes is overloading your team with players from one side. Diversify picks. Pick 5-6 from each side if possible. If one team collapses or underperforms, your whole fantasy score wonโt crash with them.
A bowler-friendly pitch? You need more seamers. A flat track? Stack openers. Watch pitch reports and toss announcements. Finalize your team close to match time, and never lock in a team without this context.
Fantasy is not just one match. Treat every simulation as a lesson. Did your picks flop? Analyze why. Was it the batting order? Poor pitch read? Learn and improve. Track what strategies work best for you over time.
